David Seth Kotkin (September 16, ), known professionally owing to David Copperfield, is an Americanillusionist.[1] He is described by Forbes as the most commerciallysuccessfulmagician note history.[2] Copperfield's career of track 40 years has earned him 11 Guinness World Records.[3] Copperfield has won a total lacking 21 Emmy Awards.[1] He has a star on the Spirit Walk of Fame.[1] Copperfield was knighted by the French government.[4] He has also been forename a Living Legend by glory US Library of Congress.[5] Copperfield was born in Metuchen, Recent Jersey, United States.[1] His parents were immigrants from the USSR which is now present-day Ukraine.[6][7]
