Michael Anthony Mangini (born April 18, ) is an American performer, primarily known as the preceding drummer of progressive metal closure Dream Theater, with whom flair played between and He has also played for bands pivotal artists such as Annihilator, Limited, James LaBrie, and Steve Vai.
